MARGOT
CONSTANTAKIS

Margot has always found herself surrounded by the salty air, sea, and boats, making her passion for anything related, come naturally. The waters of The Bahamas, she considers her backyard.

She is a local Bahamian who grew up on the island of Great Exuma, The Bahamas’ gem of paradise. In her senior years of high school, she relocated to Nassau where she was introduced to the life of sailing. She then moved and lived on Long Island for a sweet ten years where she lived the real island life of fishing, sponging, and farming. However, she found herself moving back to her homeland, Exuma and then just recently moved back to Nassau. She never found herself land locked for too long, taking on any adventure on the sea that was thrown her way.

Margot loves traveling and exploring new places and ironically has always found herself to be drawn to places on the sea, not too far from marinas and beaches. It’s as if the salt life keeps her within close proximity on purpose.

In 2020, Margot was given the fortunate opportunity to make what she has been doing all her life into a career with the management role of Island Yachts, the yacht charter side of Bahamas Central. After not too long into the business her respect for the yachting industry deeply escalated, which resulted in her plunging into the BYBA, in hopes to help form more structure to the upcoming booming industry to her Bahama land with both Bahamian and worldwide yacht agents and brokers.

Margot is ready to take on this new endeavor with the operations of Bahamas Central and alongside her amazing team she is confident that there is no job too big or small that they cannot take on together.
